  FROM THE BIBLE, THE WRITTEN WORD OF GOD YOU NEED TO BE SAVED Romans 6:23a “For the wages [payment] of sin is death.” 1 John 1:8,10 “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him [God] a liar, and His word is not in us.” Hebrews 9:27 “It is appointed unto men [mankind] once to die, but after this the judgement.” Revelation 20:14,15,10b “Death and Hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever [whoever] was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. AND SHALL BE TORMENTED DAY AND NIGHT FOR EVER AND EVER.” YOU CANNOT SAVE YOURSELF Proverbs 14:12 “There is a way which seemeth [seems] right unto a man [person], but the end thereof are the ways of death.” Ephesians 2:8,9 “FOR BY GRACE are ye [you] saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: NOT OF WORKS, lest [for fear that] any man should boast.” Grace – God’s undeserved mercy and love for sinful man, revealed and made effective in Jesus Christ. GOD HAS MADE A WAY FOR YOU TO BE SAVED John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son [ Jesus Christ], THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE.” Acts 4:12 “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none [no] other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 13:38,39 “Be it known unto you therefore… that through this Man [Jesus Christ] is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: and by Him all that believe are justified [pardoned and cleared from guilt] from all things.” 1 Peter 3:18 “Christ also hath [has] ONCE suffered for sins, THE JUST FOR THE UNJUST, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh [nailed to a cross], but quickened [made alive] by the Spirit.” YOU MUST REPENT OF YOUR SINS Luke 13:3b “Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” Repentance is not only being sorry and feeling remorse for our sinful lives, but it is to hate sin and turn away from it, making a complete change of the basic motivation and direction of our life, and to accept our total dependence on God. Acts 3:19a “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out [completely taken away].” YOU MUST BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AND ASK HIM TO BE YOUR SAVIOUR AND LORD John 1:12 “As many as received Him [ Jesus], to them gave He power to become the sons [children] of God, even to them that believe on His name.” Romans 10:9,10 “If thou [you] shalt [will] confess with thy [your] mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine [your] heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, THOU SHALT BE SAVED.
