In the news today!
Bill C-384, the private member’s euthanasia bill that was introduced by Bloc Quebecois member Francine Lalonde, was voted on in the Canadian Parliament today April 21st. Thanks to the prayers of many Canadians, this Bill was soundly defeated by a vote of 228 to 59. For now at least, our elderly and disabled citizens will not face being coerced into ending their lives prematurely. However, the battle is far from over.
