STATEMENT OF FAITH

 FOR

 ARTSCRIPT PUBLICATIONS
AND  EMPOWER Journal Online

1. There is one God, Creator of all things existing in perpetuity, comprised of three equal persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, with all three being Divine in the One.

2. The first humans, created in the image of God, fell into sin, rendering all their children sinful at birth and in need of a Saviour and regeneration by the Holy Spirit. This Saviour, conceived of the Holy Spirit, came to earth in the form of a human, born to a virgin, a mere human maiden who recognized her own need of a Saviour.

 3. This Saviour, Jesus, the Messiah, Christ the LORD, came to earth as fully human and fully God, lived a sinless life, and through death made restitution for the sins of the world, that through Him, humankind may be saved.

 4. Christ Jesus wilfully and purposefully went to the cross, taking our sins upon Himself, paying the penalty in our place. He was crucified, died, was buried, seized the keys of hell and death and rose again to life on the third day, triumphant over Satan.

 5. Christ Jesus appeared first to the women, then to His disciples and to hundreds of others during the next forty days, after which He visibly ascended to Heaven where He sat down at the right hand of the Father in complete victory over sin, death and the devil.

 6. Christ Jesus is the only mediator between God and humankind, and petitions the Father on our behalf. Salvation comes only through faith in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ on the cross, and is equally available to all humankind.

 7. The Holy Spirit convicts all humankind of sin, and empowers, teaches, fills and ministers to and through all true believers in God.

 8. The Holy Spirit gives utterance to our prayers, imparts gifts as He chooses, and through Him, Christ Jesus is glorified.

 9. All humankind is born equal, with a soul. Each person is appointed once to die and then the judgment...one life, one soul, one death, one eternity.

10. All humankind is born with a free will to either accept or reject God's offer of salvation through Jesus Christ. Eternal glory in the presence of God in heaven awaits those who confess Christ as their personal Saviour. Eternal suffering in hell and separation from God awaits those who reject Jesus Christ as Saviour and LORD.

 11. The Holy Bible is the entire and complete Word of God in its original languages in both the Old and New Testaments and is inspired by God alone. It is without error and is the final authority.

 12. In acknowledgment of Christ's atonement for our sins, and through obedience to Him, those who have accepted Christ as Saviour may enter the waters of baptism. This is a symbol of full repentance, dying to self, and full commitment to God in heart, soul, mind and strength.

13. With a great sound of a trumpet, the Lord Jesus Christ will visibly return to the earth, coming in the clouds with power and glory, and every eye shall see Him.
